As a little girl, playing dress-up became a passion the moment I crawled into my mom's 1950s champagne pink chiffon prom dress complete with lacy layers of petticoats. Any make-believe dreams I had of becoming a fashion model were dashed when I failed to grow taller than 5'3” - so I channeled my devotion to fashion into becoming a connoisseur of all things clothing, accessories and beauty. I worked my way through college at fashion boutiques, as a personal shopper and as a junior buyer at a mom-n-pop vintage clothing shop. Once I hit the working world, I continued capitalizing on my fashion talents by writing style and beauty content for a number of clients, including The Tyra Banks Show.
