Space planning, finding color complements, creating cohesion between contrasting design styles - it takes a lot of know-how to create a beautiful interior. You need that same knowledge base to write about home decor. I gained my expertise in the field while earning a BFA minor in Fine Arts at Wisconsin Lutheran College - an institution I attended on an art scholarship. I followed that by teaching art classes at the high school level and working at Sunbelt Scenic design studio with clients including Fisher Price, Bass Pro Shop and the Becker Group.
